Harry Hersey Jr.
Into Hall of Fame

West Palm Beach, FL (June 19, 2006) Harry W. Hersey Jr., founder and president of Golden Pride International, former chairman of the USDSA, and past Operating Director for Goldshield MLM companies worldwide, received the highest honor bestowed by the DSA earlier this month. Mr. Hersey was named the 2006 inductee into the Direct Selling Association Hall of Fame at the annual meeting held in Boca Raton, Florida.

Prior to founding Golden Pride International, a direct sales nutritional supplement company in 1983, Mr. Hersey was president and co-founder of American International Laboratories. In 1989, he purchased the W.T. Rawleigh Co. in the U.S. and Canada and formed Golden Pride/Rawleigh, Inc. After the 2000 acquisition of the Golden Pride and Rawleigh companies by Goldshield Group plc, a publicly-traded UK-based company, Mr. Hersey served as an operating board director and Director of Worldwide MLM Operations. Currently Mr. Hersey serves on the Board of Directors for the Longaberger Company. Mr. Hersey is a past chairman of the Direct Selling Education Foundation, has served on the DSA and DSEF Boards, and recently served as Chairman of Board of the USDSA. Additionally, he is a past member of the CEO Council of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations. Mr. Hersey holds a B.S. from Southwestern University, and is a Certified Nutritionist and accomplished author.”
